A refreshing and creamy iced latte made with oat milk, brown sugar cinnamon syrup, and espresso. Perfect for summer mornings or afternoon pick-me-ups.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 shots (60 ml) espresso or ½ cup (120 ml) strong brewed coffee
  • 1 cup (240 ml) oat milk (preferably barista-style)
  • 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar (dark or light)
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons hot water
  • 1 cup (240 ml) ice cubes
  • Optional garnish: cinnamon dusting or cinnamon stick

Instructions

  1. Make the brown sugar syrup by combining 2 tablespoons brown sugar with 2 tablespoons hot water. Stir until sugar dissolves completely.
  2. Brew 2 shots (60 ml) of espresso or ½ cup (120 ml) of strong coffee.
  3. Stir ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon into the brown sugar syrup until evenly combined.
  4. Fill a tall glass with about 1 cup (240 ml) of ice cubes.
  5. Pour the hot espresso or coffee over the ice, then add the brown sugar cinnamon syrup. Stir gently.
  6. Slowly add 1 cup (240 ml) chilled oat milk over the coffee mixture. Stir lightly or leave layered.
  7. Garnish with a dusting of cinnamon or a cinnamon stick. Serve immediately.

Notes

Use barista-style oat milk for creaminess. Dissolve brown sugar fully in hot water to avoid graininess. Use freshly ground coffee for best flavor. Control ice melt by using large ice cubes or pre-chilling the glass. Adjust sweetness to taste or substitute brown sugar with coconut sugar or monk fruit sweetener for lower sugar options.
