A quick and creamy dip made with cream cheese, sour cream, and fresh herbs, perfect for last-minute entertaining and crowd-pleasing snacks.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces softened cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika or cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Soften the cream cheese by letting it sit at room temperature for about 20 minutes.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Use a hand mixer on medium speed to blend until smooth, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until fully incorporated.
  4. Fold in chopped chives and parsley with a spatula.
  5. Add lemon juice and stir gently.
  6. If desired, add smoked paprika or cayenne pepper and mix well.
  7. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let flavors meld and dip thicken.
  8. Transfer to a serving bowl, garnish with extra herbs if desired, and serve with your favorite chips.

Notes

Soften cream cheese before mixing to avoid lumps. Chill dip for at least 30 minutes for best flavor and texture. Stir in a teaspoon of milk or water if dip is too thick after chilling. Taste and adjust salt or lemon juice before serving. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Freezing is not recommended.
