  • 8 ounces (225 grams) cream cheese, softened
  • 7 ounces (200 grams) marshmallow fluff
  • 1/4 cup (30 grams) rainbow sprinkles
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) vanilla extract
  • Fresh mixed fruit (strawberries, blueberries, kiwi slices, pineapple chunks) and sweet dippers (pretzels, graham crackers)

Instructions

  1. Soften the cream cheese by leaving it out for about 30 minutes or microwaving in 10-second bursts until soft but not melted.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with marshmallow fluff and vanilla extract using an electric mixer on medium speed for 2-3 minutes until fluffy and well combined. If mixing by hand, whisk until no lumps remain.
  3. Transfer the mixture onto your serving board or platter and spread it into a long rectangle or circle about 1/2 inch (1.25 cm) thick.
  4. Generously sprinkle rainbow sprinkles evenly over the top of the dip.
  5. Arrange fresh fruit slices and dippers around the dip in a rainbow pattern.
  6. Optionally chill the board in the fridge for 15-20 minutes before serving to firm up the dip and keep fruits fresh.
  7. Serve with small plates and spoons or let guests dip with their fingers.

Notes

Soften cream cheese well to avoid lumps. Sprinkle rainbow sprinkles slowly for even distribution. Dry fruit well before arranging to prevent watery dip. Chill before serving for best texture. Can substitute marshmallow fluff with whipped cream for lighter dip or use vegan alternatives for dairy-free version.
