A vibrant, spooky green Halloween punch made with pineapple juice, lemon-lime soda, and lime sherbet. This easy-to-make drink features a magical color shift and a creamy texture, perfect for parties and trick-or-treat events.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups pineapple juice
  • 2 liters lemon-lime soda (Sprite, 7Up, or Sierra Mist)
  • 2 cups lime sherbet
  • 12 drops blue food coloring (gel preferred)
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 large bowl ice cubes
  • Optional: 1 drop green food coloring
  • Optional: Dry ice for fog effect

Instructions

  1. Pour 4 cups of cold pineapple juice into a large punch bowl.
  2. Add 1-2 drops of blue food coloring to the juice. Stir and check the color, aiming for a deep teal or forest green. Add more if necessary, keeping in mind the color will darken slightly when soda is added.
  3. Scoop in 2 cups of lime sherbet and stir gently to incorporate. Avoid over-stirring to maintain visual layering.
  4. Stir in 2 tablespoons of lemon juice to balance the sweetness.
  5. Just before serving, slowly pour in 2 liters of cold lemon-lime soda to preserve carbonation. Stir gently to combine.
  6. Add a large bowl of ice cubes. If using dry ice, place it in the center of the bowl using tongs for a fog effect.
  7. Garnish with lime slices or green grapes and serve immediately.

Notes

For best results, chill all ingredients before mixing. If making ahead, mix the juice, sherbet, and lemon juice base and refrigerate for up to 24 hours. Add the soda only right before serving to maintain fizz. If the color isn’t green enough, add a drop of green food coloring or more blue. For a glowing effect, serve under blacklight.
